mostly surprised I didn't throw up

Today I did this thing where I talked about our books in front of sixty librarians, and I had a microphone on my collar and everything. I thought I was going to die from nerves at the beginning, but overall it went okay. And the greatest thing? Though I was nervous, I wasn't scared at all. I mean, I'm uncomfortable speaking in front of people like this, but it seems it doesn't actually scare me.

ETA: And then my father, whom I admire and adore, said it was a gutsy thing to do, especially on my own. My sister and I was supposed to do it together, but she is eight-months pregnant and didn't feel well enough to go.
